When We are Seated With Him We See Clearly

(He ~ the Hebrew alphabet letter meaning a window through which we see)

Psalm 119:33-40

Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes, and I shall observe it to the end.

Give me understanding, that I may observe your law and keep it with all my heart.

Make me walk in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.

Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest gain.

Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity, and revive me in your ways.

Establish your word to your servant, as that which produces reverence for you.

Turn away my reproach which I dread, for your ordinances are good.

Behold, I long for your precepts; revive me through your righteousness.

After reading and meditating on these Scriptures, what do you think God wants to reveal to you today?

My heart is aching to know the fullness of His love.  I want my life to portray a walk that is steady and sure in the Spirit, moved by His leading, walking with His guidance and favor.  Nothing short of His presence will satisfy my hungry heart.

Father, may I be a willing and eager student as You teach me the way of Your word.

Not looking for excuses and reasons why I feel I cannot live what you have ordained and planned from long ago

When You speak life to my heart, my soul comes alive.  I am longing to understand Your precepts and to live the words You have written on my heart.

I want to be like a puppet on a string knowing You are controlling my movements. I give myself up and yield to Your power at work in me.

My feet begin an awkward dance and my arms rise in praise as I bow my heart in worship.

You are awesome, You are holy, You are amazing as You work the strings of my life.  I want me to be out of Your way, not hindering what You want to accomplish in me and through me.  It is Your life coursing through me that moves me over.

As You give me understanding Papa King, the eyes of my heart see wondrous and glorious truths in Your word.  I want to walk in those truths Father; I want them to be the sheer delight of my heart.

Overwhelmed by love, consumed by the fire of Your Spirit, Jesus, be my all in all.  Be to me all who You are even as I surrender to Your glory and kingship.

You have invited me into Your presence; You have welcomed me and spread a banquet before me.  It is by grace I am saved. Grace strengthens these weak knees and grace encourages my heart to trust You.  Grace gives sight to my eyes and grace pulls me closer, nearer to You than I ever dreamed possible.

Quietly, unmistakeably, in His crystal clear voice we hear Him speak, urging us to…

Come up here.  There is a spot I’ve saved just for you, my Precious One.  It’s here in the Father’s Keep and there is a place for you right by the window so you can look out and see all the things that are taking place.

Here you shall sit and be delighted as I teach you and give you understanding of my statutes.  In your fidelity to me you will begin to see and make observations through My law.  And, you remember well that my greatest commandment is to love.

So your eyes are washed in the Fountain of Life.  It is here that you begin to see, know, and differentiate between wood, hay and stubble, and gold, silver and precious stones.

Contend for excellence; contend for truth.  Contend to take hold of the love of God.  It is as you hold and carry My love that the wood, hay and stubble of your life is burned off and My Word becomes established in your heart.

Sitting with Him by the window I see and hear ~ YOU are

the Door of Hope,

Dear Jeannie, How I echo your prayer. I have been working on memorizing Psalm 119. It is so rich and calls me to an ever deeper walk with Jesus. I love His sweet words to You. Thank you, Cathy

“Papa King”…I like that! And as our earthy fathers enjoyed our obedience and understanding; his rewards, his hugs his smile from our reactions to him, how much more is our Heavenly Father pleased from our willingness of obedience to His Word; His blessings in our lives. THANKS once more Jeannie for you inspiration.
