God’s first and only impression of us is love. He sees us constantly and His love never changes. We have our pride and independence, invisible barriers that hinder us from seeing and admitting how needy we truly are. Jesus is there on the other side of our pride, waiting for us to lay it down and kneel at His feet. He beckons us to come unto Him.
2 Corinthians 3:4 And all of us, as with unveiled face, because we continue to behold in the Word of God, as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another.
But what does the Face of God’s Grace look like?
The Face of God’s Grace
He says, “Come dance with Me in joyous abandon. Take My hands and let Me lead you in a dance of intimacy. Come unto Me, press yourself close against Me, feel My strength. Come.
I see you, naked and poor, wretched and blind. Let go of your pride and independence. See your need. Humble yourself before Me. Let Me clothe you with the garments of praise and righteousness, let Me put a garland of grace around your neck and relieve you of your heavy burdens. See the circle in which we dance? Just come in. You please me so very much. You are so beautiful to Me. I love you. I created you and chose you long before the foundations of the earth were laid.
See the circle? Just come in and dance with Me in joyous abandonment. I long for you to come close to Me. To admit your need of mercy so that you may experience mercy without judgment. I am in earnest, Daughter, waiting for you to come in so that I can enclose you within My arms and show you My heart, My tender, compassionate heart full of loving kindness for you. You are so precious to Me. You are My treasure and I will build you. I will cause you to shine and be radiant with My glory and My love. You please Me just because I love you. Don’t be afraid of giving yourself wholeheartedly to Me. I will never hurt you or betray your love. I see your wounded heart and long for you to experience the healing Balm of Gilead. In your dance with Me I long for you to experience the purity of My love.
Just come in and dance with Me. Let Me show you that although the ways of the world are treacherous and confusing, the wisdom that I would whisper into your ear is as pure as My love; it is considerate and gentle, full of compassion and good fruits. Be free My Child of any doubts, lay them at My feet. It is your choice to surrender. It is My choice to love unconditionally and without measure.
See the circle in which we dance? There are no boundaries to My love, but there are boundaries within My love. They are there so you may experience freedom and unsurpassed joy and I long to pour grace into your life, grace without measure. Truly you are loved, a beautiful treasure who I take great delight in. I rejoice over you with love and joy and as we dance together, I will make no mention ever again of your past sin for as far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your transgressions from you. I will never recall your past sins. I have forgiven you and have set My love upon you.
Come in. Just come in and dance with Me. Come close, hear Me whisper words of love in your ear. Let Me strengthen your heart with terms of endearment. I exult over you with singing. I will lead you in the dance and uphold you always. Always will I hold you close to My heart.
See, I have even imprinted a picture of you on the palm of each of My hands and your name is engraved on My palm and My heart.
I love you so. Please, won’t you just come in? Trust Me. Take My hand and dance with Me.
Just come in and gaze upon the beautiful Face of God’s grace.
Forever I love you,
Abba, God your Father
