Peace, Overwhelming Peace

Have you learned that Peace, overwhelming peace floods your soul when you  keep your mind focused on

Eat His Wordthe attributes of God?

the character of God?

the promises of God?

Peace is a love gift from the Father and it  belongs to us.  The Holy Spirit indwells us and peace is a result of His presence within our hearts.

Love, Joy, Peace – these are gifts from the Holy Spirit.  Precious gifts to help us live lives of love and abundance.  Lives focused on loving God and seeking first His Kingdom matter so much to Him.

Peace is a settled assurance in our souls about a matter.  In Galatians 5, Peace follows after Joy.   When we receive Joy, we also experience Gladness in our souls.  We are no longer striving to hold onto momentary, fleeting moments of happiness. Gladness settles down deep in our soul and keeps our outlook focused on the work of the Cross.  Gladness protects us from despair and depression too!

The Manifest Jesus Carried

It was only six thirty in the evening when he said he would like to go to bed early.  The past few days had been full of stress and I gladly acquiesced, very pleased at the thought of escaping the whirlwind of thoughts swirling in my brain.

Not much time passed before I could tell by the rhythm of his breathing that he had found the blissful state of sleep.  But it was not to be so for me.  I was about to experience the most amazing revelation of the truth I have ever experienced in my life!

All of a sudden, the word ‘Manifest’ was written in my mind and the thought of a truck driver’s manifest labelling the cargo he carried filled my trying to sleep moments.

I sensed the Lord softly speaking, urging me to take the thought further and it went something like this:

The driver has a manifest describing the cargo he is carrying on his truck, he is carrying it to bring it to us at a certain destination point.

I saw in my mind a picture of a huge semi-truck loaded with water, milk, bread, meat, wine, oil and spices.  The trailer had written on its sides ‘Everything You Need for Life and Godliness”.  The driver travels cross-country to his destination and he always carries on him, the manifest listing the goods on board.  When the truck is unloaded, the contents correspond with the manifest and the contents are manifest, they are palpable, real.

The Father’s words came and the truth and power in them cut through the fear that had been trying to take hold in my heart.

“I have always known a temporary solution to the ails of society would not manifest for you the life I desire.  I have always wanted for you, My people a life free from the bondages of sin and sickness, disease and lack.  My desire always has been and always will be for a people who are whole and prospering in spirit, soul and body.  When your spirits and souls are prospering from the receiving of truth in your inward beings, so your bodies prosper.  Selah.

I planned a delivery, a delivery that would be paid in full, one time for all of mankind and the contents of the delivery would be available to all for all of time.

At the appointed time, My seed was planted in Mary.  She marveled and magnified My Name.  Her soul blessed Me and I could hear her whisper in wonder, “I Am carrying Life.”

Jesus, My beloved Son, took on the form of embryo and came by way of the womb.

Jesus lived on earth for thirty-three years and He carried a manifest that revealed My promises to you.  The full revealing of the manifest would be at the destination point of the Cross.

Jesus, beaten and pummelled to a pulp, nails hammered into hands and feet and fastened and fixed upon the Cross was lifted up above the sin and sickness, disease and lack rampant in the world.  His wounds became your healing and by His stripes, you were healed.

He gave His life so you could enter into the abundant life I dreamed of and planned for you.  Jesus gave and His giving was so enormous, no price or penalty would ever be paid again.

The manifest of Jesus had My DNA all over it.  When you look and see by faith, below the Cross and covered in the shed blood of Jesus, the contents of His manifest are visible.  The manifest is fully accounted for, all approved and pleasing to Me.

There is no waiting!  Hear Me, there is no waiting.

The manifest of Jesus has been made manifest by the pouring out of His lifeblood.  He has given and emptied Himself and all of that which He carried, and brought to us, He delivered at the Cross.

Healing, divine health, wisdom, understanding, sound minds, vitality, prosperity and many other gifts have been delivered to the Cross.  Everything you have need of to live a life of godliness and contentment have been checked as received and paid in full on His manifest.

All that is required of you, My beloved children, is to come to the Cross by faith and receive what He delivered for you.  You do not have to beg and plead for healing, you do not need to be in want and wonder at provision.  All needs have been met and filled by the rich manifest Jesus delivered.

Do you need healing?  Receive it; scoop it up in your arms at the Cross.  Do you need finances, emotional stability, or any kind of provision?  The provision for every single need you would ever have has been delivered to the Cross.

Come to the Life-giving, cleansing flow of the Blood and receive.  Remind yourself of all the Blood has purchased for you; remind yourself that the power in the Blood far exceeds the sickness, disease or lack.  It is manifest child.  The manifest Jesus carried has been made manifest and the contents of the manifest are free and available to you right now.  The gifts are yours to embrace, they are palpable and real.”

Will you receive?

Loving Him with you,

When we Need To Remember the Toll Jesus Paid

Some days the temptation to worry can be great and it is then we must turn our minds to the promises of God.

We must remember the toll Jesus paid for our redemption and the faithfulness of His promises.  Sitting in His Presence this morning, not questioning, not wondering why, not praying or asking anything of Him other than to sense His Presence, these thoughts came in overwhelming pictures in my mind. He overwhelms me by His love and mercy.  The operational power of God is the grace He bestows upon me and infuses me with.  I pray for you, Dear One, that you would meditate upon these words of truth and see Jesus high and lifted up for your salvation!

*******************************************

Jesus became sin so that we would become examples of the righteousness of God.  As His beloved sons and daughters, we are approved and acceptable to God because by His goodness and mercy, through the Blood of Jesus, we are in right relationship with Him.

Those lashings Jesus took that striped His body and stripped His body of flesh? There were borne by Him to bring healing to our bodies.  To heal the soul wounds and physical ailments that plague us.  They plague us because they are part of the curse.

Jesus hung, nailed to the Cross-to redeem us from the curse ~ to buy us back! We, who were once members of the kingdom of darkness, were bought and purchased with the Blood of Jesus. The Blood was the only acceptable price to the Father because only the Blood of His Beloved son could forgive our sin, heal us, and make us whole.

I see… Adam breaking fellowship with His Father through just one bite.

I see…Jesus hanging on the tree I see…God’s heart weeping for His beloved, watching us wandering in the wilderness and trudging through the deserts of life alone…thirsting, confused, in need of a Savior and Redeemer.

I see…God’s heart weeping for He knows the diagnosis for sin and separation from His heart will break His.

He weeps for us ~ His beloved, chosen of His heart to be in union with Him ~ He weeps to see us walking in darkness.

Sin and darkness, disease and death ‘took their toll’; death and separation from the Father was not acceptable to the One who loves us so. Another toll was required to override the toll sin and sickness demanded. Jesus nailed to the Cross would pay that toll by His Blood.

The Cross, with the arms of Jesus stretched wide in forgiveness was hoisted and plunged into the ground. With that lifting up and plunging, the Father cried out, “LIFE!” Life! Abundant and eternal would be the prognosis for sin and sickness.

Life would reign. God is ‘for’ Life and He knew as He looked across the sea of mankind, needing to shield His eyes from the sin and evil, He knew we needed a Savior and Redeemer.

The price would be high but He needed Someone to pay the toll. Jesus hanging on the Cross, bore our sin in His body.  He bore our sicknesses and diseases; He carried the weight of our weakness. He took it ALL upon Himself.  He endured the agony; shame was swallowed up by pain.

The miraculous power of God together with the loving obedience of One Man equals the wonder of the Cross. The Blood swallowed up sin and sickness, ALL that we would EVER experience in the lifetimes of man. As the Blood flowed out of the Body of Jesus, so went our sin and sickness.

The Blood poured out, washed away ALL traces of sin and sickness. The Life Blood of Jesus poured out away from His Body. The toll was paid and accepted.  The toll completely covered our death penalty and nothing more was owed.

Nobody could pay a higher price, nothing greater could be given… Jesus showed incredible love by giving up His own life for us who are His friends. We have become righteous, healed, redeemed.

We have become His Body.

We are in Him!  Old things have passed away and all things have become new. We are alive in Christ!  Sin and sickness …  have no place in the Body of Christ. Yes, I know we experience sickness in our bodies, but for now, we see through a glass darkly looking forward to the time we see Him face to face.

Serving the King – You May Be Surprised

Sometimes making a declaration of what we know and feel,

Sharing our hearts with our Father, even though He knows

Brings revelation to us as we reason with Him.

After all, He is the One who said, ‘come let us reason together’

When we  come in  close and allow Him to minister to us,

He will bring us comfort.

A fair exchange.

I will serve Him

In my time of distress and angst in my soul

I will serve Him

I thank You for Your Presence with me

I wait on You, Jesus

I am heavy laden with a serving tray of, well, “stuff”.

Emotions that have no place in Your Presence, oh Glorious One.

I wait on You, Jesus

I can hear You asking for the fear, doubt and worry on my tray.

Will I give it to You?  Will I make the effort ~ You know oh Lord.

I have said I would spend the days of my life serving You.

This serving tray feels so heavy

Are the contents stuck?  Are they deeply rooted in lies from the enemy?  Yes?

I rebuke the lies of the enemy right now in Jesus name.

I will recognize the fearful thoughts the enemy places in my mind

I replace those words of doubt with Your word of Truth.

When I speak  the Truth out loud, right here, right now, potential for change is enormous

The truth is Jesus, You died and rose again and in doing so You destroyed the work of the enemy.

All the work of the devil, You have stripped him and He is completely void of power

You stripped him bare and the truth is the only power the devil has over me is what I choose to give him.

so I offer You this tray Jesus.

Waiting on You, Jesus.

You relieve my tray of heaviness.  You flood my soul with light.

It is a battle You have won and You have called me Victorious Overcomer.

The enemy may push hard but I am free.

Free to serve You,  my soon coming King.

Free to be seasoned by Your love.

Serving You is life’s greatest joy.

I have heard You beckon

I come running into Your open arms of love

Perfect and Complete is His Work

This morning I had an ‘aha’ moment!

God brought to mind something way out of my past, applied it to my future and I realized He has been trying to tell me He does a perfect and complete work!  That’s a good word right?

Let me tell you the story…Thirty some years ago I was born again but not walking with Jesus.  I had never learned the heart meaning of the word ‘repentance’ and was having such a hard time dealing with all the guilt and shame of my past.  To say I was messed up is putting it well.

But this is the story…A friend who had remained a friend to me since high school once again invited me to church.  I had been to her church several times and I liked the way the preacher preached and the genuine warmth and love the people showed me, well it just kind of blew me away.  Me, who smelled of cigarettes and had an untouchable attitude, they just loved on me.  I did like it there although I couldn’t figure out how they could be so ‘good’ and so happy.  I went that night.

That night I showed up in some flimsy dress, high heels, scented with the smell of smoke and an attitude only to discover it was a guest speaker!  Groan.  I sat through it and I had no idea what he said.  Until his almost last words, which were announcing a miracle healing service.

“Yeah, I don’t need this stuff” I said to myself and promptly got up and made my way out of my seat to the aisle.  As I stepped into the aisle I heard him say, ‘And right now, God is healing a woman with a plantars wart on her right toe.”

By the time I made it down to the foyer, I somehow knew that ‘woman’ was me!  I whipped off my high heels (which were killing my feet) and discovered I no longer had the wart on my right toe!  Jesus healed it even in my total scoffing and unbelief.

I still have the one on my left toe but it has never bothered me since that night and I always felt God left it there just to remind me…

Of His love, His Grace, His Mercy, His Never Ending Kindness

My right toe was completely healed.  The wart totally eradicated.

My right toe is like an Ebenezer stone, I can look at it, remember the Lord touching me and am grateful for how far He has walked with me on the Highway of Holiness.

Fast forward to today.  I have been struggling with the ‘what if’ voices.  What if Bruce’s  PSA is up? What if he… what if… and I just have to tell them to shut up!

What does my wart have to do with prostate cancer?  Nothing except they are both totally eradicated in the Name of Jesus!

When the Lord reminded me of when He healed my toe, He also reminded me He has done a perfect and complete work.  He has healed perfectly and completely.  Just as there is no trace of the wart, so is there no trace of cancer.  He showed me that when Bruce’s last PSA was measured at less than 0.01.

I am standing at a place in time where I need to look back and see the stones that have marked my journey with the Lord.

Less than 0.01 is my Ebenezer stone.  I am going to stand in that place of deliverance and victory and shut up the ‘what if’ voices. The voice of my Lord is familiar to me and I will not listen to the voice of a stranger.

The healing of my toe has been some thirty years ago.  I expect to stand and testify with Bruce in thirty years of the great things our God has done for us because we have chosen to believe, chosen to know our God. We will be 88. Should the Lord tarry.

He has done a perfect and complete work in Bruce’s body.  He has called us out of darkness to live in His glorious light.  He who called us is Faithful and Perfect.

I didn’t plan it this way, but this ‘aha’ moment is the answer to the question in Beckoned by the King “What do you think God requires of you in order to have you become a person who exemplifies strength, dependability and loyalty”?

I need to look back and see all the places God has enabled me to have victory.  I need to trust His faithfulness, trust the perfect and complete work of Calvary and trust the power of the Blood of Jesus shed for the remission of my sin and all my diseases.  I will remember that faithful is He who called me and He is a keeper of His Word.

He says, “Hold fast to the Word of Life.  Hold fast to Truth and surely you shall be kept.  Yes!  Go forth with joy in your dependence upon My mighty Word.  I shall not fail you or disappoint you.  I shall rejoice over you and share My joy with you, thus strengthening you in the continuation of your journey.  By My side and in My heart you shall ever be.  My eye is upon you and  shall ever guide you, My words shall ever encourage and keep you as they run like water, refreshing your soul.”

With love and joy on our journey,
