Papa Loves You

The Lord my God is King; the Lord is Papa, Abba Father, and Daddy.

He hears the heart of the humble and is always ready to answer our cry.

He judges in righteousness and looks upon us, His precious children with a heart bursting with love.

When I am afraid, I have learned I can trust Him.  I call to mind His Name.

Abba Father, Papa…I am met…not with resistance from a Righteous, High and Holy God…I am met with abundance of love…compassion, mercy, generous kindness…I am bathed in the Blood that flows from Calvary.

As the Blood drips red over my life I am purified, strengthened, changed.

His perfect word changes my emotions.  My soul begins to know a greater degree of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control and long-suffering.

When I am afraid of the future, His Word converts my fearful emotions.  I can stand with Jeremiah in complete confidence and can agree with him that the Lord has plans for me that are good, plans to give me a future and a hope.

Words Flowing Like Honey

As I speak His Word and allow those words to flow from my lips like honey, a change truly does begin in my heart.

Papa King Loves YOU, Papa King loves Me!

Papa is good, the love Papa has for us endures forever.  Papa loves us with an everlasting love.

Papa draws us to Himself with an abundance of loving kindness.

My soul has been weary and sorrowful and Abba Father has satiated and replenished my soul.

His Word is hidden in my heart and there it burns like fire.  The Lord is with me as a Mighty Awesome One and though He tests me, I shall come forth as pure gold.  Refined in the fire of great love.

There is great reward in keeping the Law of the Lord.  It takes discipline, diligence in our commitment.  It takes practise too to do something so foreign to our usual way of being.  As we persevere in the hiding of God’s Word within our heart, His life giving words will become what our mouths speak.

As God spoke in Genesis and created with His words, He will teach us how to do the same.  His Word will make us wise and He will train us in righteousness as we align ourselves with His Law.

With our faces set like flint towards the Wind of the Spirit, we will breathe in His life giving wind and flow freely in the Spirit whose only law is love.

What direction are you looking?  Are you catching the Wind of the Spirit?

With thanksgiving for His grace and mercy,

with you in His palm

Wow, Sheila, I love your comment; that the very One who created us in His image is perfectly capable of re-creating His image in us! Now that is great food for thought! Thank you so much!

Well written post, Jeannie. Thank you for reminding us of how much the Father loves us. I am particularly fond of the book of Jeremiah, too. I suppose because of the way he handles his difficulties.
