I am excited to write you today to tell you the address of this house has changed from psalm119greaterthangold.net to something must simpler!
The url is now http://jeanniepallett.com! (Easy peasy hey?)
I am making the switch for several reasons, one of which I was forever correcting my spelling when I typed out the old url!
Writing this today is like holding my pen poised above a clean sheet of paper in a new journal. Thoughts come and thoughts flee but always the one remains.
“Write, write for Me. Write to bring praise, honor and glory to Me. I will give you the words.”
And don’t I know that unless the Lord gives the words I write in vain. The Lord must build this house in order for it to stand and offer protection in the storm.
At home, I am cleaning house literally because we are moving across country next year and I am being ruthless with the ‘stuff’
we I have collected over the years. It is a wonderful feeling to have all that extra space in the closets and I wanted to have that same feeling here too. I have grown to like the white space and well, quite frankly, I hope you do too.
There still may be some ‘tweakin’ to do here and there but I sure hope you will make this house one of your favorite places to come and visit. My brother (Bill Layton) has helped me so much in making this change and I am really grateful for his help and wisdom. He did most of the technical stuff and even chose the picture for my header.
I took that picture when my husband (Bruce) and I were on the Peace River before the flood of 2011. I remember how my heart swelled as I looked up from the river and gazed at those gently rolling hills spilling over with the glorious color of a soon coming northern autumn. Little did I know then that we were soon to have a season in our own lives that felt as if the river banks would burst.
The door is wide open for y’all and I’d love to have you sign the Guest Book (the comment section) and let me know how you like my new place. Having your company is such a pleasure and I love the way our shared words are a strength and encouragement for one another.
May you know the blessing of the Lord upon your life. May His peace envelop you and give you comfort in the storm. He is your Refuge and Strength and no matter what you may go through, He will never fail to be an ever present help to you. He loves you with an everlasting love and He is able to bring to fruition those good plans He holds in His heart for you. Trust Him, lean on Him and feel the steady beat of His heart.
I am looking forward to your visit so let me know when you arrive – the door will be always open for you.
With you in His palm,
